Baby Bootcamp & Homemade Gourmet

August 16th, 2008 by Debbie's World of Books

I took today off of work and I don’t know where the day went.  I did baby bootcamp this morning and that was a good workout.  There were about 8-10 of us and it definitely wasn’t as good as when there are just 3-4 of us but oh well.

Then I went to this Homemade Gourmet party.  It sounded like you can buy these different spice packages and they give you recipes you can make using those spice packages.  They tried to sell it as being really cheap meals but I don’t know.  It was like $18 for enough spices for 16 meals.  That seems expensive to me but I’m not the biggest cooker.

It did make me think I should prep more meals and freeze them.  I never thought about freezing them without cooking them. and then cooking them later on.  I’ve always cooked them and then froze them.  I only do that with spaghetti, meat loaf and lasagna because freezing dries a lot of food out.
