Trying to find the best deal on diapers

November 15th, 2008 by Debbie's World of Books

We tried using Costco, PX brand and Target diapers and none of them worked for our daughter.  So we’re stuck with Pampers Cruisers which can cost an arm and a leg.  I haven’t figured out yet where it’s usually cheapest to buy Cruisers.  I know Babies R Us every once in awhile gives a $5 gift card if you buy two boxes.  Target actually just did a similar promotion.  So far this is what I found as of 11/14 for Cruisers size 4 prices.

BabiesRUs.com: $40.69 for 140 count=29 cents/diaper

Target: $41.99 for 140 count=30 cents/diaper

Target: $29.99 for 100count=30 cents/diaper

Target: $18.99 for 54 count=35 cents/diaper

Amazon.com: $41.99 for 140 count=30 cents/diaper (no tax or shipping though!)

Walgreens.com: $22.99 for 72 count=32 cents/diaper (currently on sale for 21.99=31 cents/diaper)

So I guess without sales Amazon.com looks to be the cheapest although if you get some good coupons you might be able to get a better deal.

Yep, I totally agree about Amazon, had the cheapest prices for cruisers when I needed them. The big bonus is you don’t have to go get them! I also had Amazon Prime so they arrive in 2 days flat! Watch for their sales, they sometimes do a “Spend a $100 in pampers products and get $25 back”.

Ohhh, really? I’ll have to keep an eye out for that. I just realized today the coupon I had for BRu was $4 off each box but it expired on the 13th!
