Happy Haulidays 2011 from Chronicle Books

November 5th, 2011 by Debbie's World of Books

Chronicle Books is once again having an awesome Haul-idays Celebration.  They are giving people a chance to win $500 worth of books.  There are two ways to enter.  One is for bloggers to make a list of the books they would like to haul in and the other is for non-bloggers to leave a comment on this post.  If I win one of the commenters will also win all these books.  On top of that they will also donate $500 worth of books to the charity the winner chooses.  I would love to pick a few projects from Donorschoose.org.  I’ve donated to a classroom on there before and loved seeing all the happy faces and getting all the thank you letters from the kids who enjoyed the books.  See all the details here.  Here are some of the great books you can find from Chronicle Books.  Any grab your interest?

Many of these look very good. The one that grabbed my eye most was “Every Day’s a Holiday: Year Round Crafting With Kids.” Most of the other adult books would be good for my daughter-in-law who is a very serious penny-pincher.

The gluten free baking book didn’t make it on my list, but I’d love to try gluten free baking out. Those could be some interesting experiments. Good luck with the contest!

Very intrigued by the gluten free cookbook, I bake without wheat because of my daughter’s allergies so I try to adapt where I can and cookbooks that already are focused on being allergy friendly help. 🙂
