Armchair BEA: Giveaway Time!

Today is giveaway day at Armchair BEA so be sure to check out all the other great giveaways going on. I just recently held a giveaway for two of my favorite 2012 reads, Everneath by Brodi Ashton and Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins, so I was debating what to giveaway today. Since dystopians has become one of my favorite sub-genres I decided why not go with two dystopian reads.
So up for grabs are an ARC of Partials by Dan Wells and a finished copy of Starters by Lissa Price.

Partials was one of my absolute favorite reads this year. Big fan of the hard dystopian.
Some of my favorite features on a blog are the creative ones like 5 word movie reviews, or back to the classics. Things that take you outside of the fold a bit!

I think my favorite feature of a blog is the original feature they have to offer. I love the memes. Top Ten Tuesday, Waiting on Wednesday, things like that. I’m finding fun new ones all the time!

This is an awesome giveaway! These two books are highest on my TBR list, but sadly my library doesn’t have them and I can’t afford to buy them right now.
The thing that makes me want to subscribe to a blog is when the blogger writes thoughtful, honest reviews of books within my field of interest. And when the blog is relatively drama-free.

I like discussion posts. I’m not a fan of reviews unless I expect to hate the book or have already read it. (If I don’t care about the book, I won’t read the review, and if I want to read the book, I won’t want a review to ruin my impression of it.)

Reviews of course but I also love when blogs feature upcoming releases because there is always some new book coming out that I somehow missed. I love keeping up to date with new books!

My favorite feature in a book blog would most definitely be reviews! I LOVE reading reviews of books I haven’t read and adding them to my To-read shelf on Goodreads!

My favourite features on a blog.. hmm.. that’s tough! I love everything! I guess I really like memes because they’re not only fun to read but they’re the best feature to connect bloggers together. When we have big linky lists it’s so easy to find other bloggers to meet and follow!

Well obviously I like giveaway. But I love interviews and getting to know new books. Reviews are great but I really like discovering new ones. Sometimes tutorials are also great.

Well my favorite feature depends on the day. I just love to read a great review or interview that inspires me to pick up a book. But some days I am a bit lonely and in need of a measure of social interaction so memes fit the bill.

Dystopians are my favorite!
I really love blog reviews. I think I get 98% of my book suggestions from them. I love getting a chance to be “introduced” to all these blogs through Armchair BEA!

I think my favorite features are great reviews that introduce me to books I’ve never heard of before! I also love posts where people talk about what releases they are looking forward too, to get everyone excited.

I love interviews and cover reveals (CoverHoor!), and I like the Stacking the Shelves/In My Mailbox because for some reason, I love to torture myself by being jealous of all the books other people are getting.

I’ve been dying to read Starters!! Yay!
hhmmm. I love getting to know about lots of books at once, so seeing what people buy/receive are usually my fave. I like memes because it gives me the chance to get to know more bloggers in a short amount of time.

This is a tough question because I love pretty much every part of book blogs, but I have to say the reviews because they give me a chance to know what other people think about books and know their thoughts. I also get an insight on if I might like the book or not. Thanks for the great giveaway!
