Before They Were Movies…

October 29th, 2012 by Debbie's World of Books

The Hunger Games movie was a huge hit and the latest Twilight movie is being eagerly anticipated by teens (and adults!) around the world.  These aren’t the only young adult books that have hit the silver screen (or tv screen) lately.  Young adult books are enjoying quite the popularity among movie and tv studios.  Here are some YA books (or crossover books that have YA appeal) that might be hitting a screen near you in a year or two.  You may want to check out the book before seeing the movie.

I have to say I hate movie editions of books. I wish they could keep them original and separate… I don’t want a movie poster. I want a pretty cover like they start out as…

Kailana-I agree about the movie covers. For the most part I prefer the original but I guess it’s one more way for them to make money & sales.
