About the book

Twenty-eight and filthy rich, Matt Cannon is the youngest broker on Wall Street. He may be a “boy wonder,” but he’s every inch a man. Ask any woman—any night. But when Matt’s latest fling makes scandalous headlines, his clients get anxious, and his bosses at Wolfe Investments level an ultimatum: keep his assets zipped, get a “real” girlfriend, and clean up his act. Only one woman can help Matt with something this hard.

For PR genius Sabrina Cross, the best fixer in Manhattan, playing Matt’s steady is going to be a challenge, even if it’s just for show. They already have an explosive history, she can’t stand the cocky party boy, and worse—she can’t stop thinking about him. So who’ll dare to break her “no touching” rule first? Because when that happens, Matt and Sabrina’s game of let’s pretend will get so hot it could set both their reputations on fire.

My Thoughts

This is the second book in the 21 Wall Street series and I was so excited to dive in. I loved the first book, Hot Asset, and couldn’t wait to read Matt and Kennedy’s stories. Matt was a fun hero and I loved Sabrina’s character. We had briefly met her in the first book but we finally get the backstory between why she and Matt are constantly bickering despite them both being good friends with Ian.

The chemistry between Sabrina and Matt was HOT! I felt bad for Matt because when we finally find out why she’s been so angry and mean towards him it felt a bit blown out of proportion. So once she finally let’s go and their relationship starts to transition from enemies to more lovers I was so happy for Matt. You could tell he’s a great guy and he truly felt bad for his past comments to Sabrina.

All in all this was a solid romance but I have to admit it’s Kennedy’s story that I’m really on pins and needles waiting for.
