Hillary vs. Palin 2012 who would win?

November 4th, 2008 by Debbie's World of Books

Just saw this article on CNN about who would win if for some reason Obama didn’t run in 2012.  To be honest I think it would be hard to tell.  I think Obama is going to win today and so then it’s a matter of seeing how well he does in office.  With all the assassination plots against him I’d also worry if he would even make it through the first term and if so does he want to put his family under all that stress for a second term.

Anyway, that would give Palin four years to beef up on all the areas she is short on now, gain more experience outside of the Alaskan sphere and she already seems quite popular with a lot of conservatives.  So I think she could definitely give Hillary a run for her money in 2012.  Of course I would still support Hillary :)

I definitely think that Obama is going to win today.

I think Hillary would completely dominate Palin in 2012. Hillary has a vast amount of experience at the national level and has been in the white house.

I think Obama winning today is pretty much a given. I really would like to see Hillary run again though.

After hearing Palin screach all during the campaign and hearing all the venom she poured out I wouldn’t vote for her as dog catcher. I hope I never have to listen to her slanderous mouth again. Hope she stays in Alaska where she belongs and McCain and his dirty tactics retire. I pray Obama gets him out of there and show him the Good Old Boy’s just do’t cut it anymore. Hillary? I don’t about either but is a little bit more tolerable. I hope 2012 we still have Obama around and things are starting to fall into place.:>).

Assuming Obama wins tonight, I hope Hillary challenges him for the nomination in 2012 and wins as she should have this year. Perhaps 4 years will take the stardust out of everyone’s eyes.

Unless Obama does as bad a job as Bush then I don’t see him stepping aside in 2012 and since Hilary didn’t beat him this time around I doubt she could next election without him screwing up. Which wouldn’t be all that surprising. Hopefully Obama surrounds himself with smart people.

THE DEMOCRATS HAS PUT US IN THE FINANCIAL CRISIS AT BAY, NOT BUSH. HANG ON WE WILL SEE WORST AHEAD WITH OBAMA LEADING THE DEMOCRATS. OUR COUNTRY JUST VOTED AWAY OUR FUTURE FOR THE NEXT 4 YRS, OUR ONLY HOPE FOR THE FUTURE ECONOMY, AND DEFICITS WOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE HANDS OF MC CAIN / PALIN, LETS HOLD OUR BREATH FOR 4 MORE YEARS, AND VOTE FOR PALIN IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.

Doesn’t anyone agree with this?: Palin went from confused punting, to handling some stock phrases, & then doing twice as well in her Veep debate. She grew to’ own’ the (mean-spirited) harangues, delivering them with a flair, as the campaign progressed. She became a skilled character-actor; all in just several weeks time. With 4 years to be tutored, she could be a real force. If the Republicans think that she is their only answer to run against Obama or Clinton, she could command a real following from those who would be entranced by her figure and affectations. If we couldn’t understand how so many people could be misguided to vote again for Bush in 04, Don’t discount her. Or maybe The People of the US have Actually Learned to look for substance and worldly knowledge, when they elected Obama?
