February Wrap-Up

March 2nd, 2009 by Debbie's World of Books

February was a little slower reading month compared to January but here is the list of what I read last month.

26. Thou Shalt Not Whine by January Jones-3 stars

27. Gauntlet by Richard Aaron- 3.5-4 stars

28. Peeps by Scott Westerfeld- 3 stars

29. Wake by Lisa McMann-4.5 stars

30. Vampire Kisses by Ellen Schreiber-This is a hard book to rate.  For young adult readers I would probably say 3.5 stars but from an adult point of view I would have to hover around a 2.5-3 stars.

31. Skinned by Robin Wasserman-3 stars

32. Winter in Madrid by C.J. Sansom-2.5 stars

33. The Heretic’s Daughter by Kathleen Kent-4 stars

34. The Broken Parachute Man by Robert B. Bolin-3.5 stars

35. The Land of Marvels by Barry Unsworth-2 stars

36. Wide Awake (Twilight Fan Fiction) byAngestGoddess-4.5 stars

37. The Initiation: Book 1 of The Secret Circle by LJ Smith-4 stars

38. Cirque Du Freak: A Living Nightmare by Darren Shan For young adult boys I would probably give this a 3.5 but for adults I would rate this at a 2.  I did see on IMDb that they are making a movie out of the book.

39. Vampireville by Ellen Schreiber-2.5 stars

40. Extras by Scott Westerfeld-3.5 stars

41. Jesus Swept by James Alexander Protzma-3.5 stars

Looks like you had a great reading month and read some awesome books. I loved The Secret Circle books! And The Heretic’s Daughter is on my TBR List of Doom…lol

Thanks! LOL. I know what you mean about TBR piles. I have two stacks on a filing cabinet and a couple more on a book shelf and they actually starting tipping over because the piles are too high. Probably a sure sign I need to stop buying books.

it does look like you got some great reads in.

I’m reading The Broken Parachute Man now. I’ll check out your review.
