Fall TV Lineup

August 15th, 2009 by Debbie's World of Books

I just started browsing through the coming tv season lineup and I see some stumbling blocks for my reading time.  There are so many shows I want to watch.  Here’s my line up so far:

Tuesdays

8pm-So You Think You Can Dance (FOX Starts September 9)

8pm-The Biggest Loser (NBC Starts September 15)

Wednesdays

8pm-So You Think You Can Dance(FOX)

8pm-America’s Next Top Model (CW Starts September 9)

Thursdays

8pm-Survivor: Samoa (CBS Starts September 17)

8pm-Flash Forward (ABC Starts September 24)

9pm-The Vampire Diaries (CW Starts September 10)

10pm-Supernatural (CW I keep hearing everyone talk about this one so may have to check it out)

10pm (ABC Private Practice. I watch this one off and on so we’ll see what happens)

Fridays

9pm-Stargate Universe (Sy Fy Starts October 2)

10pm- Sanctuary (Sy Fy Starts October 9)

Sundays

8pm-The Amazing Race (CGS Starts September 27)

Considering I don’t get to watch any tv, read, blog, etc until after my daughter goes to sleep (usually around 9pm) this is going to prove to be a really tight schedule between books, tv and work.  Something will probably have to give :(

Those are major distractions. The worst for me will be Survivor and The Biggest Loser. I love those soooo much! I am also looking forward to House, Fringe, and eventually Lost. :)

I debated trying to watch Lost but as you can see my tv schedule is already full.

I gave up on TV. I buy a few shows when they come out on DVD, but that’s about it anymore… If I do watch TV it is NCIS and House… I don’t even know what half of the new shows are like.

My TV schedule will be really similar to yours, I think! Especially the Thursdays! I don’t know how I’ll actually survive… I think I might have to drop a few shows, and wait for the DVD collections. Except that I can’t imagine waiting another year to know what happens – especially in Supernatural!

I’m bad about catching up on DVDs. I did want to catch up on Lost, Supernatural and True Blood but not looking likely.

You need to watch from the beginning if you watch Supernatural. I love that show. Especially Dean!

Thanks Rachel! I need to order the past seasons on Netflix. Just need to find the time to watch :)

    Debbie,
You must check out Supernatural. Entertaining episodes, with wit and humor (and a little bit of borderline gore) and the chemistry between the two leads is really what sells it. If nothing else, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles sure are pretty to look at!

LOL, pretty eye candy is always good.
