I give this book a 3 out of 5 stars

Description from Fantastic Fiction.com: After getting caught turning wolf on national television, Kitty retreats to a mountain cabin to recover and write her memoirs. But this is Kitty, so trouble is never far behind, and instead of Walden Pond, she gets Evil Dead. When werewolf hunter Cormac shows up with an injured Ben O’Farrell, Kitty’s lawyer, slung over his shoulder, and a wolf-like creature with glowing red eyes starts sniffing around the cabin, Kitty wonders if any of them will get out of these woods alive…

This is book 3 in the series and I was happy to see Cormac again.  We also see a lot more of Ben who has now been turned into a werewolf and Kitty has to help him adjust to this new life and realize that he should continue to live.  I loved the chemistry and confusion going on between Kitty and Cormac but I was a little disappointed in how it ends.  I don’t want to say exactly why since it would ruin the end of the book if you have not read it yet.  Still this was another enjoyable read in the Kitty Norville series.

I was lucky enough to have the first four books in this series to read back to back(the only way to read a series is in batches) I was able to see the growth and maturity levels of Kitty’s character as a whole and this makes the storyline so much better. I can’t disagree with your take on the ending but it just makes you that much more eager to get your hands on the next book in the series.

Lisa-I actually ended up reading all 7 books back to back. LOL. She does mature over the series but I’m not in love with the series.
