My Must Reads By the End of 2010

November 16th, 2010 by Debbie's World of Books

Can you believe 2010 is almost over?  My eyes are always bigger than my reading time  so I feel like I’m always playing catch up to keep up with my review books and rarely even delve into my own TBR books.  Here are some the of books from my TBR/non-review pile of books.  I really want to finish by the end of the year.  My goal is to finish at least 5 of them by the end of the year.  Do you have any favorites on here that you think should be moved up to the top of the pile?

I really liked If I Stay and thank you for reminding me about The Sky is Everywhere! I’m going to check it out from my library tomorrow.

Poison Study! Not only is Maria V Snyder one of my favorite authors but this is also one of my desert island books! The Iron King is also pretty good. Of course, both of those books are the starts of series so maybe only start if you have the next book waiting.

I loved, loved, LOVED The Sky Is Everywhere. One of the best books I’ve read…EVER. I hope you like it too. :)

Plain Kate and Poison Study DEFINITELY need first priority. Especially Poison Study. I loved that book.

  9. Ladybug

I have three of those books in my TBR pile as well :)

I would suggest that you move up Plain Kate or Poison Study(I’ve heard that those are great stories).

Ladybug of Escape In A Book.

OH! There are several of my favs up there. The whole Iron Fey series is fantastic! Also, and I would recommend getting to it sooner than later, The Sky is Everywhere. It’s just so beautifully written. Loved it!

Glad to see the ones that made my list are so popular. I think I will read Plain Kate, The Iron King, Poison Study then The Sky is Everywhere. Thanks for all your opinions!

Dark Lover is quick read so I would rank that high. I love finishing books and adding another to the tally.

    Great list Debbie!

I have to say I loved Night Pleasures – it’s on my fav’s list of paranormals.

Several of the others you have listed are on my to read list as well :).

Iron King NEEDS to be #1 on your list! With Iron Queen (which was AMAZING) on Netgalley it’d be crazy not to ;)

Oh maaan, the only one I’ve read and can comment on is If I Stay. Obviously, I’d throw my vote in for that one. Happy reading, anyway, I’ll be waiting to see what you think of this list since I haven’t read any of them, either!

What a great list! I haven’t read many on those, but I really enjoyed Poison Studies. As for My Soul to take, it was good but the series only got great for me on book 3. I heard really great things on Plain Kate, so maybe I would start with that one!
