March In Review

April 2nd, 2011 by Debbie's World of Books

I swear March just flew by.  I have fallen so behind on my review pile that it is not even funny but on the plus side I have gotten to several of my own books that I have been meaning to read for a long time.

What I Read

This brings my total number of books read to 45 books so far.  This month was still predominantly YA but it was nice getting back to a few romances.  I’ve missed reading books from that genre.  My favorites were YA though, Demonglass by Rachel Hawkins (paranormal),  The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson (contemporary) and Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys (Historical).

Read in Previous Months but Reviews Posted in March

Giveaways

I have one giveaway currently going on for The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson.  Ends April 9.

I promise to pick the winners of Delirium soon!

Hmmm, I count most YA books I read in the romance category. It seems like they have almost enough sexual content, these days. Am I just getting old?

Jenn-yeah, lately most YA books have some sort of element of romance in it so I don’t count those as romances. Basically romance is what I find in the romance section of a bookstore.
