From the moment Skye and Dante meet, the sparks fly. Their mutual attraction is a scorching hot bomb ready to go off. The last thing on their minds is the trouble their attraction will cause for their family.

It doesn’t help matters that Skye and Dante are sleeping under the same roof.

My Review:

This book left me with mixed feelings. Some parts I really enjoyed but others were just irritating. I couldn’t stand a lot of the abbreviations Skye used. Granted my exposure to Teens is limited to the ones I was around when working in the library but I didn’t feel like they spoke like that. I was glad when it seemed to tone by towards the later half of the book. Skye also irritated me at times. I get she’s still in high school and is expected to have her immature moments but in contrast with Dante’s composure and behaviors it just emphasized the age difference and made it hard to accept their relationship.

The story itself was interesting and kept me reading. I loved Skye’s step-mom Catarina. I adored Dante and was rooting for him the whole book. I loved seeing the way he handled Skye’s dad.
